I'm Olga
My name is Olga and I can't wait to shoot your big day!
I am a wife and a mother to two girls. I love to travel and go on adventures. I am a very outdoorsy and active person. In the summertime, it will be hard to find me anywhere indoors. If I am not at work, I am either hiking, biking, swimming or just roaming around exploring new places. This also reflects in my photography. Do you want to hike up to the top of the mountain for a scenic shoot? I'm your girl. During the photo shoot, you can find me climbing trees, lying on the ground, squatting, and getting in all sorts of different positions to get the best angles!
For the past 12 years, I've been a Healthcare professional, I perform diagnostic tests and exams on eyes. To this day, I still work part-time at The Ottawa General Hospital and don't foresee myself changing this part of my life anytime soon, as I still love my job, seeing patients, and learning about new technology. Another pastime of mine is cooking. It relaxes me after a busy day and distresses me on weekends. My husband is Lebanese and that has influenced my cuisine a lot, as I find Mediterranean cuisine to be quite fresh and savory!

my passion for photography
I’ve always liked photography. I got my first DSLR when I was 18 and it traveled the world with me. I was a dedicated family and friends photographer so as long as I can remember! One day, a series of events led me to think about doing photography professionally. It was a quite spontaneous decision and no one (including myself) saw it coming. I got a new camera, new lenses, I did several workshops, and watched a ton of videos. I met amazing people on my path who guided to where I am now.
Photography is not only a physical memory. I love to capture love and emotions. The crinkle of the eyes when you smile, the smirk you make after hearing a witty comment, or the deep laugh you belt out after seeing someone trip and fall. I want you to look at your pictures after many years and remember the joy you felt and the butterflies in your stomach.
During photoshoots I forget about everything, I feel like I am in a totally different world. Each photo shoot is different but all are so uplifting and I never thought that I'd get to work in a field that would give me so much energy and fulfillment.

What are three fun facts about you?
I can easily do a headstand, without any warmups!
I always guess right the sex of the baby when someone is pregnant.
I love thrillers and horror movies!
What is your favourite season to shoot in?
Summer! Longer golden hour, amazing weather encouraging you to stay outside. I rarely get hot, so warm and humid weather is not a problem for me! That being said I love the look of winter photoshoots and who doesn’t like the beauty of autumn and its changing colors!
